Plei.app: Sports Application for Soccer Field Booking

The customer commissioned Cyfrania to create two connected solutions intended to serve the specific user needs:

• A mobile application for soccer players that enables them to find partners, book a soccer field in their neighborhood and arrange pick-up games
• Platform for soccer field providers that allows them to manage field reservations

Plei App Key Functions:

• Locate nearby soccer facilities and pinpoint them on a map.
• Check details and live availability of soccer fields.
• Reserve a field and invite friends. Invites are sent as notifications, and invitees can accept or decline.
• Message individual players or groups to arrange games. A dedicated chat is created for each game.
• Form two teams by assigning player icons to either side of the field.
• Cancel reservations if plans fall through.
• Discover suggested open pick-up games based on your location and schedule preferences.
• Access detailed information about the game, including instructions, facility location, parking details, and where to meet other players.
• Sign up for open pick-up games.
• Handle payment for field bookings, with players only paying their share once enough participants have joined.
• View scheduled upcoming games.
• Contact the support team via Intercom or SMS.

Since its introduction in 2017, Plei has successfully cultivated a community of over 100,000 enthusiastic soccer players and more than 100 soccer venues in 14 cities across 11 states in the U.S.

By 2020, three years post-launch, the company's recurring revenue surpassed the $1M threshold.

Presently, Plei leads its market segment within the U.S. and is on a rapid upward trajectory. The owners are aiming for nationwide expansion and intend to extend their reach globally.
