Heartrate is an innovative healthcare app with the accuracy of a hardware heart rate monitor.
Orangesoft developed special algorithms and color filters to ensure that the app's results are comparable to those obtained through hardware-based methods for heart rate monitoring. The app calculates heart rate using the iPhone camera and allows users to track and calculate their heart rate by either looking into the smartphone camera for about 20-25 seconds or placing a finger on the camera lens.
The client aimed to improve the fitness experience and make it safer by implementing a mobile app for comprehensive health monitoring that would ultimately promote personalized, healthier fitness experiences.
