Packnwood specializes in distributing and manufacturing environmentally-friendly disposable tableware and food packaging for 40+ years. Operating across the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Belgium, they are a sizable organization.
The client tasked us with revitalizing their declining store through various enhancements and customization options. Additionally, they requested the development and integration of marketing tools such as SEO and conversion-focused tools like Mouseflow. Their goal is to streamline all sites to offer a user-friendly interface.
Since the project involved setting up a multi-store, the client needed to ensure that a specific product could be displayed on multiple website variants, each with its own set of information and images. This task was particularly complex because some images were present on one version of the website but missing on others, creating challenges in managing the content.
Furthermore, in the previous version of the website, certain website variants only supported payments through PayPal, Stripe, or both. The client sought a more unified payment process. Additionally, issues with the payment gateway flow had rendered the payment functionality non-operational, further complicating the situation.
For any business, increasing conversions is a top priority. However, the limitations of the multi-store setup meant that the blogs were not being displayed, which hindered efforts to improve SEO and drive conversions. Overcoming these challenges was crucial for expanding the client's reach and achieving their conversion goals.
We have updated the player edition and corrected all links and the positioning of product pages on the site. However, this was not a simple fix, as it required the development of a specific script to remove all missing pictures and references before re-uploading the images.
There were also problems with the payment gateway conflict, which caused the flow to stall, preventing customers from making payments. To ensure a consistent user experience, we developed a personalized script to resolve the issue with the payment gateway.
In addition, their mobile website previously lacked faceted search functionality. Therefore, we created a script to refine the search after receiving initial results, enabling faceted search functionality.
By redesigning the website and incorporating customization options, we improved the overall functionality of PacknWood Multistore.
We addressed the challenge of multiple payment methods by developing a personalized script to integrate and streamline the payment gateway. This improved the payment process for customers, reducing the risk of payment issues and cart abandonment, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Our solution included the development of a custom search script for mobile devices, providing faceted search functionality. This improved the search experience for mobile users, making it easier for them to find specific products and increasing the likelihood of conversion.
