Wonderla, an amusement park hired TILTLABS for VR application development. Their work included environment concept, modeling, and texturing, roller coaster modeling, and character rigging and animation.
Our challenge was to elevate our roller coaster experience into an immersive realm through the integration of cutting-edge Virtual Reality technology.
We created a VR application that provided a specific environmental experience to the roller coaster passengers. The environmental experience had necessary effects representing the roller coaster's physical movement like start, stop, speed variations, slopes, jerks, etc. The experience had a bright and pleasant fantasy environment with 3 different characters, a dragon, a deer, and a panda.
The implementation of a template system for future environment management, successful deployment of a dashboard application for headset assignment and monitoring, and seamless integration of cutting-edge VR technology that heightened the thrill factor for Wonderla Parks and Resorts' visitors.
