The extension first tracks all your Facebook activity to gather all the required information and crunches the collected data into an analytical report.
We are shackled by the social media platforms and spent most of our time scrolling down our newsfeed. Have you ever wondered how Facebook compels you to stick to the platform all day long by delivering tempting content?
A software named Data selfie revealed how Facebook Artificial Intelligence uses your social media activity to track all your personal details in order to keep feeding you with alluring content. This open-source Google Chrome extension is available for free and tells you how Social media platforms such as Facebook uses machine learning and Artificial Intelligence to know your personality.
You can download the extension from the web and add it to your Google Chrome extension.
The extension first tracks all your Facebook activity to gather all the required information and crunches the collected data into an analytical report.
Data Selfie keeps a record of all your Facebook browsing activities including what you watch, how long you watched, what you look more than once, what you type, with whom you have interacted and much more.
After gathering all the needed information the software creates a report with the help of machine learning which turns the data into insight. You can access the report on the extension’s dashboard where you find all the recorded activity.
You will be able to see all the tracked activity collected by the extension in the dashboard represented in code format with different colors. The data will reveal how you spend your time on Facebook that reveals your habits and interests.
The software also gives detailed information such as what post you have liked and on what post you have spent the most time on. All this information is used by Facebook to target the user interesting content in order to increase the time usage.
In addition, the tool also shares its prediction on topics such as your political affiliation along with your nutrition and shopping preferences with the help of analytical data.
Data Selfie also makes sure that the collected data of the user did not get in any wrong hands so all the data is stored only on the user’s device without sending it to any external server.
