Apple Releases Revised iOS 18.3 Update for iPhone 11 Models

Date: February 04, 2025

Apple has re-released iOS 18.3 for iPhone 11 models, citing unspecified fixes. The new build (22D64) addresses a Siri keyboard bug, an Apple Music playback issue, and a Calculator tweak. Users can update via Settings.

Apple has pushed out a new build of iOS 18.3 for iPhone 11 series, fixing significant issues for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max owners. The latest build (22D64) takes over for its predecessor, 22D63, fixing a Siri keyboard bug, a bug with an Apple Music audio problem, and a small tweak for the Calculator app.

The update is geared almost wholly towards bug fixing for the iPhone 11 family. In particular, it corrects a problem in which the keyboard would become invisible when Siri was used, corrects an issue in which Apple Music continued to run even when an app was closed, and introduces an update for the Calculator app in terms of supporting repetitive calculation via a double press of the equals sign button.

Users with an iPhone 11 can download and update to iOS 18.3 for iPhone 11 series via settings > general > software update.

While iOS 18.3 primarily focused on Apple Intelligence features for newer iPhones, the iPhone 11 series does not support this technology. Apple has not disclosed specific details on why the separate build was necessary but has made the update available immediately for affected devices.

The company is also expected to release iOS 18.4 beta later this week, bringing Siri enhancements that improve on-device learning and privacy-focused features.
