Aceify is a great app for fitness enthusiasts who want to spend their weekends playing tennis.
Acefiy, a tennis coaching mobile app startup, is aiming for £200,000 via its equity crowdfunding campaign on Seeders.
The mobile app for tennis enthusiasts was launched by Grand Slam tennis coach Charles Homewood and tennis player Malcolm Graham in 2017. It is a platform for scheduling, booking and payment solutions for sports and fitness lessons.
With the help of the mobile app, any tennis lover or fitness lover can book and make payments as well for high-quality lessons from sitting at their home.
Tennis Coach Malcolm Graham stated,
“Users can search for classes that meet all their needs by setting price, location and activity preferences. Trainers and coaches can secure high-quality bookings at a price and location that suits them, and manage these bookings through the app.”
He further added,
“Aceify helps people manage their busy schedules and prioritize their fitness activity, by enabling users to select high quality, fitness lessons at their own and their trainers’ own convenience. It also allows athletes and their coaches to set goals and track performance over time through the app.”
In regards to what the funds from the Seeders campaign will be used for, the Aceify team added:
The Aceify team reported that they will use 75 % of the funds for marketing strategies for developing their community of sports lovers. They are also planning for expansion to all over London and for further expansion to the rest of the United Kingdom.
In order to grow their business, they will deploy an omnichannel marketing strategy that includes email marketing, social media, content distribution, brand ambassadors and “offline” sales (e.g. events).
Graham further added, sharing details about the company’s growth and development,
“We are really excited about the journey that Aceify is taking into the wider world of sport and fitness. We want to give our customers the option to select from a list of 20 or more activities and be able to find top quality coaches in all of them. It will be challenging and hugely rewarding to achieve. We are delighted to be raising with Seeders, and look forward to welcoming a wide range of investors to share in the future of Aceify.”
The remaining 25% of the funds will be used for product development. The app is currently available on iOS platforms. The Android version of the app is expected to come soon.
So far, the tennis startup has raised £113.3K from 35 investors. The funding round is set to close in May.
In May 2012, Seeders became the first equity crowdfunding platform to get the regulatory approval from a financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority.
