CommonFloor.com

Description

CommonFloor.com is India’s leading online real estate platform that combines property search, apartment management, and vendor management. It caters to a person’s complete residential requirements. It is funded by Google Capital and recently acquired by Quikr.com.

Challenge

The ‘CommonFloor’ platform enables an end-to-end and hassle-free interaction – from searching for an apartment to facilitating interactions within an apartment community, to connecting to relevant service providers. CommonFloor.com has the largest number of property listings with more than 1 lakh residential projects listed on its platform from over 200 cities. CommonFloor Edge is their mobile application.

Solutions

GoodWorkLabs team designed and developed the CommonFloor Edge Android app that is used by real estate agents and property developers to:

  • List their properties
  • Increase their presence on the portal
  • Increase sales leads
  • Respond to prospective clients
  • Use it as a CRM tool and increase their business

GoodWorkLabs began the project with a ‘design-first’ approach and using the Lean UX methodology to firstly understand the target audience, conduct user research, fine-tune the features, and arrive at a possible minimum viable product (MVP) to go live with. Their expert UX team created prototypes using Invision prototyping tool to validate the user journeys, interaction model, visual design acceptability and other nitty-gritties related to UX. Once, they had an impressive proof of concept (POC) ready, they rolled up their sleeves to begin the development.

Impact

  • Helped CommonFloorincrease sales with effective and efficient UI UX Design
  • Designed one seamless common platform for the entire lead flow or lead cycle – from sales to CRM
  • Facilitated two-way interactions between users and developers
